WHO
With a degree in fine art from California College of the Arts and a love of nature, Lauren Rossman has enjoyed working in the flower industry for more than 15 years. Lauren brings an inspired approach and attention to detail to all projects – from an artful little cocktail table arrangement to a large-scale sculptural piece. For Lauren, working with flowers goes beyond the aesthetics. She feels the grounding, magical power of creating with natural materials and understands the importance of featuring these creations in our lives – in our homes, our place of work and of course our most special celebrations. When we slow down and take a moment to step outside ourselves and our busy lives, we can feel the connection with nature by observing it with a sense of awe and wonder: taking a deep breath as we absorb the fragrance of a garden rose as it opens … noticing how the stem of a tulip continues to grow taller each day even after being cut and included in an arrangement … hearing the whisper of foliage rustling as a breeze dances with a centerpiece. This is the power of inviting nature into our lives with flowers.
